Beeline's Inaugural Christmas Lights Ride

A very chilly (literally freezing) evening on Thursday 7th December saw Beeline co-host it's first Christmas Lights Ride with the London Cycling Club. Joined by plenty of festively attired bikes and owners, the Beeline team set off from City Hall on the hunt for Christmas Lights.

The route took the gang along the Southbank, over Waterloo Bridge and into Covent Garden for a Mince Pie pit stop. From there it was a wiggle round Mayfair and Soho to catch Carnaby's Carnival, Regent's Street's angels, and Jermyn Street's jolly colours.

Next up it was Trafalgar Square's Norwegian tree and a whizz up Tottenham Court Road (past the magical Christmas bauble) before our arrival at The Chapel, Marylebone.

Prizes were awarded to Frances (aka Penelope MacGregor - our Mongolian adventurer) for her fantastic bike decorations and merry apparel, and to Yola and Bartos for their beautifully lit fat bikes.

We had a great time, loved meeting Beeliners new and old, and can report that everyone made it to the end unscathed (despite one fall off at a set of lights). We're already looking forward to the 2018 edition!
