The 'Tour de Craic': Ireland's Ring of Kerry

The Ring of Kerry is one of Ireland's most popular and most scenic circuits and takes in everything from rugged coastline and white sand beaches to charming little villages and more Irish pubs than you can shake a stick at.

Our co-founder Mark grabbed some of his pals in the summer last year and the four set off on a two-wheeled adventure, cycling the ring in three days of glorious sunshine.

rin of kerry ireland cycling route mapThe Ring of Kerry (aka the Tour de Craic) is a 179-km-long circular route in County Kerry, south-western Ireland. If you do it clockwise from Killarney it goes through Kenmare, around the Iveragh Peninsula to Killorglin, on through Sneem, Waterville, Cahersiveen, and Glenbeigh before returning to Killarney for tea and medals.

We could go into more detail but a video speaks even more words than a picture so here's footage of Mark, an Irishman, and a couple of wannabes on their tour.
