Kate's Mekong Meander

Beeline Community Manager (you may have emailed her before!) Kate headed off for a trip to Cambodia. She packed her bags – Beeline first, of course – and set off for a couple of weeks of exploration. Undoubtedly one of the best days of the trip, some might say of her life, was a cycle down the Mekong river from Kampong Cham to the Hanchey Temple and back again. Over 48km she and a friend cycled past four weddings, hundreds of cows and chickens, and had a number of hilarious encounters with friendly Cambodians. They ended the day back in Kampong Cham with a trip over the famous ‘bamboo bridge’ and a pint of Angkor beer to watch the sunset. Happiness is.
