Beeline Velo 2 is designed for cycling and is not compatible with motorcycle routes.

I have been using Velo2 for about 6 months now and would give this device a five star rating anywhere!! Recently used on routes in Northumberland from Berwick down to Morpeth and app did not miss a beat!! Also used with Sustrans gpx files supplied with various books. Very good for finding way home whereever that may be!! Thanks to all at Beeline and keep it up!!

Very pleased with this purchase. I needed a convenient and effective means of navigation on the bike, having struggled to get satisfactory results using my phone whilst riding. Ordered a Velo 2 which arrived quickly. When I arrived at the airport where my bike was parked late at night I was able to install the device within only a few minutes and was quickly en route. I am delighted with the way the device bleeps to alert me to approaching junctions as I had not been aware of this really helpful feature. Battery life seems very good and re-routing works well. Pleased to note that Beeline does seem to account correctly for one-way streets where cycles are allowed to travel both ways, so much better than using a motoring navigation app.

Really impressed. I've been using the Beeline Velo 2 for almost two years and I love the simplicity of this device and the accompanying app. The directions are clear and easy to follow when you're out on the road. Does Velo 2 work in my country?
Beeline is built to work worldwide, wherever there is GPS coverage, but there are a few exceptions.
Routing for Velo products in Route Mode uses Beeline Smart Routing in the countries listed in this article.
Anyone in a country or city that is not on the list will still receive a great route but this will come from our default provider: Mapbox. You can check out the coverage for MapBox for your country here.

How do I pair my Beeline with my phone?
Follow these steps to pair with your Beeline:
- Open your Beeline app and go through the onboarding screens. It will ask you if you would like to pair to a Beeline.
- If your Beeline is on the logo screen press the top button to wake it up. It will then say, 'I'm ABCD. Anyone out there?'
- Select your Beeline and allow your phone to pair. Your Beeline will download any firmware updates and then you should be good to go!
How do I plan a route?
Enter your destination by either tapping the location on the map or using the search function in the ‘Where to?’ at the bottom of the screen.
If it is a simple A to B type of day, that is it! From here you can choose to ride the route given, or blaze your own path with light guidance by choosing the Compass option.
For the longer days, you can also add stops along the way if there are any specific places that you would like to pass through on your ride. These are called waypoints.
